During the 2019 Legislative Session, the Legislature authorized that Hope Scholarship Program contributions may also be used to fund scholarships for the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship Program, which provides low income students the opportunity to apply for a scholarship to attend an eligible private school. Forms have been updated to include this information.
FADA wants to make sure that dealers are using the most up-to-date forms when presenting the Program to customers. Dealers should verify that they are using the revised DR-HS 1 Hope Scholarship Program Contribution Election Form. It can also be found on the Department of Revenue’s website under Forms and Publications/ Sales and Use Tax.
