Dealers with 100 or more employees are subject to the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s (EEOC) EEO-1 Survey filing requirements, which were recently revised to cover new “Component 2” data, including information on employee W-2 wage and hours worked set out in 12 specified pay bands. The EEO-1 Survey still requires the reporting of Component 1 data on employee race, gender and ethnicity. Component 2 EEO-1 Survey data for 2017 and 2018 must be submitted through the new portal by Sept. 30, 2019.
